Love the writing, especially the dissolving "dangling sack of goop" where "your quivering remains schlorp out onto the ground, wet and useless."

See, cynicism is good for something! :D

Great article! Yes I agree cynicism is the great monster of our age. It just doesn’t affect tech people , but people r adjacent to tech, like those who spend a lot of time on Reddit.

And the media and now social media rewards this tendency towards the negative.

Always happy to see someone countering the narrative.

Hoping to read more articles in this vein !

Those who sell their souls inevitably end up trying to buy them back... at least that's what I think probably happens... It could explain all the nonsensical expensive consumer goods... :)

Sir, as you are providing this blog for free, you should definitely do whatever you enjoy and is healthy for you. Thank you for the good work!

On an odd chance it might be helpful, the reason I'm here is that you don't seem to select for positive news only, or at all. The Tech spends millions or billions each year on generating positive attitude towards it (perhaps why it's so easy to be cynical about it, since so much money and effort is spent on highlighting the positives of everything Tech does?).

So far I enjoyed your, IMO even-handed, coverage. I will miss it if you stop. (not complaining, you don't owe me anything, see: free content disclaimer :) ).
